It's one app on four platforms, sharing the same tracking engine. What each one can actually do comes down to the radio and the OS — so here's the plain version.

Why the differences #
- •Android phone — the full app. The radio gives blep everything: it can recognise a device across its rotating IDs, briefly connect to identify one, and watch for trackers continuously or on a timer.
- •iPhone — 1Apple hands apps a private, already-rotation-proof ID instead of the hardware address, and tightly limits background Bluetooth. So blep finds your things and flags recognised trackers, but the deeper ID-stitching and the connect-to-identify step aren't available the way they are on Android.
- •Wear OS — find a thing from your wrist, plus a light periodic anti-tracking watch. It recognises and identifies a device too (✓* above) — but automatically, inside that scan: it briefly identifies a suspect to recognise the same physical device across its rotations, catching a follower a periodic scan would otherwise miss. There's just no device-browser or panel on the watch; that's the phone.
- •Apple Watch — focused on the find: the signal pointer with motion guidance, right on your wrist.
- •Phone ↔ watch — on Android, your phone and Wear OS watch act like one device over the Wear Data Layer: favourites, names and settings stay in step, and the phone (better antenna, better battery, in your pocket) does the continuous scan and buzzes the watch when it finds a tracker or you leave something behind. The Apple side (WatchConnectivity) is in progress.
